Snap Assist to Arrange Windows
As you drag windows around the screen the snap assist feature helps you to arrange windows by snapping them in place. Once you have chosen a position for the first window, then miniatures of the other open windows are displayed on the screen so you can select which other window will be positioned alongside. You can snap up to 4 windows on the screen at a time.
Not only can you snap windows in place by positioning the windows using the mouse, but you can also arrange them using the snap assist layout, which was introduced in Windows 11. This lets you select the type of arrangement you want to use. Once you select your layout the snap assist helps you arrange other open windows into the panes.
